UT grad Scott Murphy's first feature film, AIN'T IT NOWHERE, will have its campus premier this Monday, October 5, at 7 in Art and Architecture 109.

The film, which just won second place in the feature film competition at the Knoxville Film Festival, is about a group of friends in the South who confront the pressure of settling down and an unwillingness to grow up. Murphy directed, co-wrote, and co-stars in the film, and he'll attend the screening and answer questions after.

A number of other former UT students were involved in making the film, including Ben Murphy, who was one of first group of Cinema Studies graduates last spring. Others involved in making the film may also attend.

To learn more about the film go to the official website: http://www.aintitnowhere.com/, and you can watch the trailer here: https://vimeo.com/124881986.

The screening is free and co-sponsored by the UT Cinema Club and the Cinema Studies Program.
